Interior Finishing

Interior finishing is the final stage of the swimming pool’s structural construction, focusing on applying the surface materials that line the inside of the pool. This layer not only enhances the pool’s aesthetic appeal but also provides a smooth, waterproof, and comfortable surface that protects the underlying structure from water damage and chemical exposure. Various materials can be used for interior finishing, depending on the desired look, budget, and maintenance requirements. Common options include plaster (white or colored), tiles (ceramic, glass, or porcelain), pebble finishes, and vinyl liners. Each material offers different textures, colors, and durability levels. For example, plaster provides a classic, smooth finish, while pebble surfaces offer a natural, slip-resistant texture.

Before applying the finish, the pool shell is cleaned, prepped, and sometimes coated with bonding agents to ensure proper adhesion. The chosen material is then carefully applied by skilled technicians to achieve an even, uniform look and feel. For tile finishes, individual tiles or sheets are installed with precision and grouted to seal gaps.

Once the interior finish is completed and cured, the pool is gradually filled with water while monitoring for any defects or irregularities. The quality of the interior finish not only defines the pool’s visual character but also plays a crucial role in comfort, hygiene, and long-term maintenance.
